A long, long time ago I started making things. As time has passed the things got bigger and more complicated as I devoted more time to making art. I use found and natural materials along with painting, glass and digital media. Nature is at the core of what I do and I react to whats happening in the world around me to produce my work. This began with producing banners way back when I was a baby punk protester in the 90's. Gradually these reactions to the world we live in have become my art. I have worked in the community producing environments in which art, learning, health and community go hand in hand. During lock down I produced a hand made book to help me with my own mental health. I hope to use it to help others. It was recently purchased by the National Library of Scotland.
Stained glass, sculpture, illustration, installations and community work.
If you would like to commission me to produce an artwork I am very versatile and work across mediums. I also teach stained glass so if your interested in learning this traditional craft subscribe on the bottom of the site for updates. I have 20 years of experience of working in the community with children, young people, repeat offenders, refugees and homeless people.
Poems, stories, projections, art.
Using a mixture of words, poems and pictures I can tell you the stories of how the the things I have made came about. The story I am writing now is based around Perth. Are you familiar with the Trainer Tree? Along with my 6 year old friend we discovered it and the story of the ghoulish foot farmer who wants to steal your soles!
